A lot of men when they hit their 30's all of a sudden out of nowhere these love handles and beer belly appear

mostly down to lifestyle choices as you have got older spending too much time in Vinnie and Teds and then onto Flames after for a cheeky kebab. But don't worry you are in the right place in this blog I am going to give you all the tools you need to fight odd the beer belly and love handles

I have been a personal trainer now for nearly 10 years working from my private PT studio in Chalfont St Peter, so I literally have no excuse to not make it to the gym because it is what I do for a living.

However I am only human, over those 10 years I have set up a business and had four children and as a result my love handles have gradually grown

One day I got out of the shower and glanced in the mirror and was like

"what are those??"

So I needed to make some changes, such as not ordering too many snacks while watching my favourite films at the everyman cinema in Gerrards Cross

before I delve into my top tips for blitzing the beer belly and love handles instead of reading you could always head over to my youtube channel to watch the video I made on this exact topic

  1. No matter how many crunches you do it wont get rid of your beer belly

You can do endless crunches and core workout until you are blue in the face however you can't target body fat with particular exercises, now regular exercise and strength work is great for your health. Doing regular core work is great for having a strong mid section and easing off lower back pain but in order to target your love handles you need to focus more on the next couple of points

  2. Eat out less

This is hugely going to come down to your lifestyle and your diet. Start off by making adjustments to your diet spending a little less time in the pubs in Gerrads cross and the nice restaurants in Amersham and spend more time planning your diet and eating at home.

  3. Start keeping a food diary

One of the best things you can start doing and what I often do myself and with clients is get them to start keeping a food diary. The best thing to do is start using my fitness pal and working out how many calories you need to be consuming a day to be in a constant deficit. This approach helps educate you on how many calories a day you need to be consuming but what it also does is give you a form of accountability.

  4. Cut down the snacking

One of the best ways to cut down on calories and improve your chances of getting rid of your beer belly and love handles is to cut out the snacking between meals. This is not easy but what makes it easier is how you plan your meals through the day. Make sure breakfast, lunch and dinner are evenly spread through the day, thought out and planed ahead but also contain plenty of protein and fibre to keep you feeling full

  5. Increase your daily movement

As well as the calories you put in your body being important the calorie you expend is also important. Going to the gym is great but its also what you do outside the gym that matters and increasing your steps is one way to really nail this. Set yourself a daily step goal and try to hit that each day. Over time all those steps will add up and really help with trying to shed that beer belly and love handles.

I hope those tips help, but I also understand that the whole process of getting in shape can be overwhelming and thats why I am here if you live in the Chalfont St Peter or south Buckinghamshire area then why not get yourself booked in for a free trial personal training session and let me help you get rid of that beer belly and those love handles

simply head to my website www.the-fitness-dad.com and lets arrange a time and day for you to come in for a chat and PT session
